Purpose of Job :

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Enquires/Customer Service Co-ordinator to join Portakabin Ireland in Donabate.


About the Role

As an Enquiries Co-ordinator you will ensure that all enquiries received by Portakabin Ireland are recorded in a timely manner to allow the business the best opportunity to convert enquiries into customer orders.

You will also support the market development activities of the Anti-Vandal Team to achieve turnover and average fleet on hire targets.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all enquires received by Portakabin Ireland (either at Head Office or in the Regional Depots) are accurately recorded on Goldmine within the timeframe required by Portakabin Ireland. 
• Monitor the recording of enquiries by the regional depots to ensure that the best practice disciplines are understood and are being followed.
• Ensure that enquiries are recorded in the Regions at all times.
• Provide management with reports providing details on the enquiries received and the success of Portakabin Ireland in converting them to orders.
• Record all enquiries received by Donabate and to ensure that those enquiries are regularly updated as new information is available from the commercial team.
• Provide the commercial team in Donabate with details of all follow up activities recorded on Goldmine.
• Provide statistical information on a regular basis on the enquiries received and the number of orders obtained from these enquiries.
• Ensure that the Goldmine System is being used to the maximum benefit of Portakabin Allspace.
• Use Goldmine as a tool to monitor the effectiveness of mailshot campaigns and/or special promotions.
• Use the data collected on Goldmine to create data bases for commercial initiatives etc.
• Provide support to the Financial Director in various aspects of the accounts function.
• Provide support to the various business development activities undertaken by the Commercial teams.

The following skills and experience are essential for this position:

• Strong Administration Experience gained in a customer service environment.    
• IT Literate (Word, Excel, Access).
• Good attention to detail.
• Excellent Telephone Manner
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desired skills and experience:

• Educated to Junior Cert standard or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CRM systems such as Goldmine.
• Experience of operating in a busy commercial environment.

Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00, (60 minutes for lunch), 37.5 hours per week.

A reasonable amount of additional hours may be required to meet the workload and demands of the Department, account of which has been taken in the salary.
